The Bonnechere River is one of the most peaceful, beautiful rivers to flow through the heart of Renfrew County. Its headwaters are located in the northern regions of Algonquin Park. The river tumbles and flows through clean, picturesque lakes of Renfrew County before it joins forces with the mighty Ottawa River at Castleford, just 12 km SE of the Town of Renfrew.
